The Oncología is a relatively novel discipline whose objective is
to know from a planteamiente to interdiscipline, one of the pathologies that
it affects to greater number of people in the developed world: the cancer.
In the last decades of century XX the advances in the knowledge
molecular of this disease they have been spectacular. Today we know that there is
a series of genes implied in the origin and progression of some of
neoplasias
more common. Although many of these findings have invaded sometimes
mass media, the Oncología at the beginning of century XXI still has
most important challenge ahead: to transfer the knowledge of science
basic to the reality of the patient and to translate them in diagnoses and therapies
effective.

Under protection of this program, postdoctorates in the scope will be able to be formed of
the Clinical and Molecular Oncología in the best centers and with the best ones
investigators of Spain.

The Carolina Foundation summons 10 postdoctoral scholarships.

Requirements:
- To be national of some country of the Latin American Community of Nations,
except Spain.
- To have the degree of doctor preferably in races related to
Biosanitario scope: Medicine, Biological, Biochemical or Pharmacy with
inferior or equal antiquity to five years.

Process of selection
- The candidate will have to attend, properly complimented, the request
online of preadmission that will find in this page WEB. HE IS SPECIALLY
IMPORTANT THE PROPOSAL OF A SPANISH RESEARCH CENTER IN WHICH
IT WOULD WISH TO CARRY OUT SU TRAINING PROGRAM AND THE DESCRIPTION OF
THE OBJECTIVES OF SUCH PROGRAM.
